    Top Affiliate Programs 2012

Find the Best Affiliate Programs to Promote on your Website!

Hey guys and welcome to my affiliate programs section.

This is where I’ll list the top affiliate programs (based on my own experiences, conversion rates and income) for different markets.

Take a look below for my recommended affiliate programs for different websites and niches.  You’ll also find related articles, such as average CPA, conversion rates and competition, on these pages.

Best Affiliate Programs for Different Niches:

How Do I Choose and Review Affiliate Programs?

All of my rating and recommendations are purely based on first hand experience working with these programs.  In particular, I choose programs, which have the highest conversion rates, top brands or best player value.

In short, I have not SOLD marketing positions for any of these programs.  I’ll also look at things such as how easy programs are to work with, the functionality of the backend, and how helpful the AMs (affiliate managers) are.

Comparing Conversion Rates and CPAs between Different Markets

It’s important to cross-examine conversion rates and average CPAs for different industries before building a website in a particular niche.

For example, every time I build a new website (or buy an expensive domain for $x,xxx) I’ll try and study the average traffic, competition and CPAs to see how long it will take me to make a ROI (return on investment) on my projects.  It’ll also help me calculate how much profit per month I can make per site so that I can prioritise projects and plan my budget.

At the top of the scale, the biggest CPAs in affiliate marketing tend to be in Forex and other trading services.  Here, CPAs can be easily worth up to $500 per customer.  You can also find $300 CPAs in online gambling (i.e. poker, casino and sports betting).

Banking, domain + web hosting and other online software programs tend to offer CPAs in the region of $50 per customer, while in retail you’re probably only looking at about $2-$5.
